Hiya,
It is so great to have you here. I am Julie, Owner and Founder of Skyber Pet Care services and I honestly - can not wait to show you around.

Skyber has been a dream of mine for a very long time, I can't wait to get to know you and your furry friends.

Let's get to know each other a little better...

This Is My Why
I know that you want someone you can trust. who truly gets how much your furry family member means to you ... someone who shows up with calm and kindness every time they walk through the door - not just every now and again and gives the kind of care that feels like an extension of your family.

That’s exactly why I started Skyber Pet Services.

After 30 years in the corporate 9–5, I knew I wanted more: more time outdoors, more connection and more joy, the kind of joy that comes from wagging tails, muddy paws and being present in the moment and soaking up life for what it really is. This business brings all of that together.

Everything I offer is shaped by what I’d want for my own dogs (Sky and Tay - two wild Spaniels that are pictured all over the website and my socials), real relationships, gentle energy and a routine they can rely on. I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, seen and settled and of course - that you do, too.
We are probably a good match if...
You see your pet as part of the family and you're looking for someone who’ll treat them with the same love, calm and consistency you do.
These are the values that shape every walk & tail-wagging moment we’ll share.
COMPASSION & LOVE FOR ANIMALS
I’m in this because I love animals, it is as simple as that, the muddy ones, the cuddly ones, the quirky ones. This business is more than a service from me to you; I create genuine bonds and love what I do. I treat every pet like family, because to you, they are family and I understand that more than anyone. Belly rubs, playtime, quiet cuddles it’s all done with so much heart.
TRUST & TRANSPARENCY
I always keep things open and honest. Whether it’s updates after a visit, bespoke walking plans or chatting through your pet’s quirks, I’ll keep you in the loop. You’ll never be left wondering how your furry friend’s getting on - you’ll know.

SAFETY FIRST
Your pet’s safety is my top priority and it always will be. Whether it’s choosing quiet walking routes or taking the time for a proper introduction, I make sure every decision puts your pet’s wellbeing first. No risks. No rushing. Just calm and confident care.

TRUST & RELIABILITY
When you hand over the lead or the keys, you’re handing over your trust and I don’t take that lightly. I show up, I stick to your routines and I always do what I say I will. No ghosting, no maybes, just steady, dependable care you can count on every time you book.

PROFESSIONALISM
Yes, I’ll probably always be covered in paw prints and slobber with treat crumbs in my pockets ... but I run a tight ship. From first contact to care plans, I keep things respectful, responsive and always organised because your pet deserves the best of both worlds: heart and high standards.
RESPECT FOR PEOPLE, ANIMALS AND THEIR SPACE
I know what it means to invite someone into your home or hand over your best friend, I have done it before with my own - I have been on the other end of this service. I’ll treat your space and your pets with total respect, no cutting corners, no assumptions. Just the same care I’d want for my own home and my own dogs.
Why Skyber?
People often ask, “What does Skyber mean?” and "where did the name come from?" and I love telling them, I will never get bored of it.

Skyber is the full name of my beautiful spaniel, Sky, who’s been by my side for 14 wonderful years. But it’s also the name of the closest mountain to our home, nestled in the Preseli range, one of our favourite walking spots.

So when it came to naming the business, Skyber felt perfect. It’s part dog, part place and completely personal it's a name that holds all the calm, freedom and connection this business is built on.

Meet Sky & Tay

All about Tay... Tay came to join our fold in September 2022 when she retired from being a gun dog and producing champion gun dog pups. She is a stunning 11 year old blue roan cocker spaniel who turns heads when we're outside enjoying walks and play time. Tay settled into our family in no time at all and although life is very different these days she's well and truly embraced the changes. She loves to hide socks, hats, slippers and anything else she can steal and bury in the garden. Fluffy toys are her favourite but these too often get hidden in the flower beds and found when I'm tending to my plants.

All about Skyber... Sky is my 15 year old baby that in her head still thinks she's a puppy! She is a sprocker spaniel - her Mum Lyla was a Springer Spaniel and one of my furry kids. Her Dad was a cocker spaniel that lived in the next village...hence why Sky's a sprocker. She's beautiful, bright a real water baby who loves the sea and the beach and although she's a bit wibbly wobbly on her legs these days she still gets to enjoy these pleasures and when she tires she gets to enjoy the smells and scenery whilst being pushed around in her chariot like a true princess.
